The TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, has donated $10,000 to the ACPHS Collaboratory; the funds will help ensure the site has the resources needed to serve the health needs of Albany's South End communities. Students from the ACPHS Vermont Campus have partnered with Colchester Parks & Recreation to host the town's inaugural Halloween Fest celebration on Saturday, October 27 from 3 - 6 pm at Bayside Park. Costumes are encouraged! The FREE all-ages event will feature a variety of attractions designed to celebrate the autumn season and the Halloween holiday

The new 2019 rankings released by The Wall Street Journal and Times Higher Education show that ACPHS adds more value to its students' outcomes than any of the nearly 1,000 colleges and universities surveyed for the report.  Using an analysis by the Brookings Institution as a guide, ACPHS was ranked "at the very top" of the added-value list, the same ranking it received in a similar 2015 Brookings report

Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences has introduced a new online database to help prospective transfer students quickly determine which of their previously earned credits can be applied to earning a degree from ACPHS. This new tool has been designed with speed and ease-of-use in mind

ACPHS has launched a new podcast series - Occupation Station - featuring leaders in the pharmacy and health sciences industries who detail their career progression and discuss the pivotal decisions that have fueled their success.  Hosted by Diane Donato, Radio Host at WGY, the Series was created to highlight the range of opportunities available to ACPHS graduates and to introduce current students to potential career paths

Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences was honored by the Cameroon Association of the Greater Capital District with the organization’s Community Service Award; Provost Tarun Patel accepted the award on behalf of the College. The Community Service Award was given to the College in recognition of the work ACPHS has done in bringing pharmaceutical and clinical services to medically underserved areas of the Capital Region

ACPHS President Greg Dewey was honored by Senior Services of Albany at the organization’s 22nd annual Third Age Achievement Awards ceremony held on May 18; he was recognized in the category of Education. Dr. Dewey (second from right in the above photo) was one of eight individuals to be honored at the sold-out event which took place at Wolferts Roost Country Club
