Carpenter, MS were approved as new members of the ACPHS Board of Trustees at the spring meeting. The culmination of a six-week program aimed at educating third through fifth graders about asthma at Albany’s Giffen Elementary School is happening Thursday, April 25 at 1:30 pm. The pilot program connected public health students from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences with elementary school students at Giffen weekly to implement the American Lung Association’s Open Airways for Schools Program
