Research Interests
- My research focuses on brain development in the fruitfly, Drosophila, specifically the molecular characterization of Eph receptor signaling, which regulates axon guidance, vascular growth and tumorigenesis. Additional studies involve the elucidation of vitamin D3 up-regulated protein 1 (VDUP1) tumor suppressor regulation and function during brain development.
