Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences’ Collaboratory, which serves Albany’s South End community in improving population health, has been named the September beneficiary for Hannaford’s Fight Hunger reusable bag sale.

For each $2.50 bag sold between September 1 and 30, the Collaboratory will receive $1 at the 96 Wolf Road, Colonie Hannaford location.

ACPHS’ Collaboratory provides access to clinical and pharmacy services in collaboration with Trinity Alliance. Together, the partners provide guidance and access to pharmacy, health care, support finding a primary care physician, connecting to insurance and increasing their access to food, transportation and other resources. The one-stop shop approach allows community members to get the support they need to avoid the emergency room.

Located at 200 South Pearl Street in Albany, the Collaboratory’s mission is to leverage the talents of ACPHS students, faculty members, and partner organizations to help narrow health disparities in the South End, located two miles from the ACPHS campus. You can make a donation to support the Collaboratory’s mission at Give | Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (acphs.edu)
