ACPHS/CBET Summer Enrichment: The Making of Medicine

The Stack Family Center for Biopharmaceutical Education and Training (CBET) will host a free three-day long experience for rising 7th- and 8th-grade middle school students. With team-based learning, hands-on projects, games, and crafts, this STEM camp will engage and inspire. Participants will follow the development of medicines from medicinal plants to modern therapies. They will practice lab skills and race to find a cure for an impending epidemic. This immersive experience will be led by Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences faculty and students, as well as Capital Region middle school teachers. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
