PERIODIC TABLES FOR HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS

High School science teachers are welcome to order ACPHS periodic tables for distribution in their classrooms. Please fill out this form, and the tables will be sent to your school.

ACPHS organizes and supports a variety of high school programs each year, including:

Chemistry Olympiad

The Capital Region Chemistry Olympiad is an annual event sponsored by the Eastern New York Section of the American Chemical Society. In addition to being a sponsor for the event, ACPHS hosts the regional Chemistry Olympiad on its campus each spring. Regional winners have an opportunity to become members of the U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad team that competes in the International Chemistry Olympiad.  

Greater Capital Region Science and Engineering Fair

Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is also a proud sponsor of the local Greater Capital Region Science and Engineering Fair held annually at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The goal of the science fair is to encourage students who have a special interest and talent in science to pursue science related careers. ACPHS recently awarded two students each with a $10,000 scholarship for their projects which were focused on the biomedical field.
