Comprised of faculty that span pharmaceutical and pharmacological research, the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is in the process of expanding and strengthening its research portfolio.
Existing areas of expertise include drug delivery, drug discovery, epigenetics, bioanalytical technologies, cell signaling, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and neuroscience (view the below list of recent scholarly activity for additional insights into the research being conducted by members of the Department).
The Department supports both the bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences in addition to teaching courses in the Doctor of Pharmacy program.
Departmental faculty are centralized in the Biosciences Research Building (BRB).
