Women’s History Month – ACPHS Alumnae
The women of ACPHS continue to blaze new trails at the College and in their careers after graduation. Here are just a few of our alumnae and their accomplishments.
Kathleen Frisbee ’82, along with two of her colleagues, won the 2020 Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medal for Management Excellence, known as the "Oscars" of government service, due to her innovation, leadership and dedication to improving access to health care for Veterans.
Marion Morton ’84 leads the ACPHS Board of Trustees. Currently also serving on the Board are Helen A. Ashuntantang ’06, Leigh Briscoe-Dwyer ’87, Donna French ’88, and Susan Learned '91.
Leigh Briscoe-Dwyer '87 is the System Director of Pharmacy at United Health Services.
Donna French ’88 is Vice President, Dosage Form Design & Development at AstraZeneca.
Mary Lou Notaro '91 was honored by Drug Store News as one of the “Top Women in Health, Wellness, and Beauty.”
Katie Cardone ’06 is the first Program Director of Pharmacy at ACPHS.
Jessica Farrell ’07 is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and her practice site is The Center for Rheumatology in Albany, NY. She also serves as the Associate Medical Director for the Steffens Scleroderma Center.
Aniwaa Owusu Obeng ’11 is an Assistant Professor/Clinical Pharmacogenetics Coordinator at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and works as a preceptor and serves on the Graduates of the Last Decade Advisory Board at ACPHS. She is joined on the GOLD Advisory Board by Kirsten Donato ’17, Carolyn Enos ’16, Chiara Evans ’18, Megan Nadler ’11, and Molly Trayah ’14.
Cassandra White ’12 was recently appointed to the Maine Board of Pharmacy, the first female in recent history.
Courtney Tackes ’14 is the Assistant Dean of Experiential Education at ACPHS.
