ACPHS was Lexi Karam's third school on her way to a bachelor's degree in biology. She attended community college first, and then the College of Saint Rose, which closed in Spring 2024. When she saw ACPHS was a teach-out partner for Saint Rose, she chose to come here, adding that the opportunities she found here made her wish she had come to the College right from the start. "It feels like I've finally found my place," she said.
Karam's dream has been to become a large-animal veterinarian, which she talks about from the farm in Saratoga County where she boards her horse. She has been accepted into the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and awaits word from other vet med schools to which she has applied.
