On Thursday, Capital Region business leaders from Albany Med, Center for Economic Growth, Hudson Valley Community College, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, University at Albany and LifeSciencesNY partnered with Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences for the 3rd annual BioInnovation Forum. The event was hosted on the HVCC campus and emceed by Win Thurlow, Executive Director of LifeSciencesNY.
This year's focus was on building New York’s bio workforce of the future. Keynote speaker, John Balchunas, workforce director at The National Institute for Innovation and Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals (NIIMBL) kicked off the event which also featured two panels, a B2B showcase featuring regional pharmaceutical and biomedical/biotech companies, and myriad networking opportunities.
