Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) is recruiting for the newly created position of Career and Employer Relations Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Student Academic Support, the Coordinator is responsible for the career development and services for all students at the College on both the Albany and Vermont campuses. The Coordinator will market the College and its students to employers, launch new programs designed to meet evolving needs, and cultivate working relationships with academic colleges, employers, students, faculty and staff. The Coordinator will also be a point of contact for students looking to achieve their career goals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: coordinate and document all aspects of the Career Services Program; provide individual career counseling and guidance for students; create opportunities for co-ops, internships, field experiences, and employment opportunities outside the academic curriculum according to established policies and procedures; develop a network of employers interested in internship opportunities with the assistance of faculty and Institutional Advancement; maintain the Career Services Intranet site and NACElink site for students and community members; collaborate with the Director of Communications in maintaining, designing and promoting career resources available to current students and alumni; and work closely with student professional associations to develop programming initiatives.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field; Master’s preferred. One to three years of Student Development and/or Career Services experience required.
