 Annual Fund

Your gift to the Annual Fund advances ACPHS's highest priorities and most vital initiatives. The Annual Fund supports:
  • Student scholarships
  • Academic programs
  • Innovations in teaching
  • Faculty recruitment and retention
  • Unique opportunities for students, faculty, and staff each year

The fact is that tuition and government support provide only a portion of the funding required to meet the needs of today's students and tomorrow's pharmacy and health care professionals. The Annual Fund is a crucial component in bridging the gap between tuition and government support and the actual cost of educating students.

Please consider making a gift to the 2014-2015 Annual Fund. Together we can reach our fundraising goal for this year of $350,000. Every gift, no matter the size, makes an immediate impact on students and families.

Prof. James Anderson Humanitarian Award

The Professor James "Jim" Anderson Humanitarian Award campaign was established in August 2014 following the passing of long time professor and community leader, James Anderson. Professor Anderson was a beloved instructor at ACPHS for nearly two decades. During his tenure, he touched the lives of all who came to know him. Not only was Professor Anderson dedicated to the students of the college, he was dedicated to bettering the lives of all around him. He was a trusted friend, colleague, and leader within the community. Many looked to him for spiritual guidance and as a confidant. This award is designed to keep Professor Anderson's passion and legacy alive for generations to come.

The Professor James Anderson Humanitarian Award is to be awarded annually to a student of ACPHS who demonstrates service and dedication to others. The student can be enrolled in any year and from any program offered at ACPHS. The chosen student should have a history of providing service to their community and of assisting others in need, which is a true reflection of the life Professor Anderson lead.

The award is to be of monetary value set by the Office of Institutional Advancement (OIA). OIA will also present the monetary award in addition to a certificate acknowledging the recipient. A posting of award recipients will be displayed in the “Reflection Room” which was named in Professor Anderson's Honor.

Help your fellow community members honor Professor Anderson and make a gift in support of this new award today! The fundraising goal for this campaign is to raise over $25,000 in honor and memory of Professor Anderson.
