Patel and his partner, Peter Pogany are the new owners of the Farmingdale Pharmacy, which will reopen Feb. 15 after its sudden closure a year ago. Patel earned that special dollar as a tip after delivering medication to a Farmingdale Pharmacy customer from Plainfield.
The customer was without a pharmacy after Farmingdale Pharmacy close.
