Six months after the current president announced he would be stepping down, Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences has named his successor. Greg Dewey will be succeeding current President James J. Gozzo, who has held the position for 16 years, beginning this upcoming July.

Amit Pai, Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice, received the Impact Paper of the Year Award from the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists. This highly competitive award recognizes a significant contribution to the peer-reviewed literature.

The College donated 12 laptop computers to the East Greenbush Community Library's new Education and Employment Resource Center. The computers will be used to help train job seekers in the use of the internet and email, skills many applicants still lack.
