The Albany Times Union wrote this profile of President James Gozzo on the occasion of the Student Center being named in honor of him and his wife Lorraine. Dr. Gozzo will step down on June 30, following 16 years as president of the College.

Assistant Professor Lauren Purington was a guest on the television program "Health Link." Dr. Purington discussed recent research that indicates drug use can fundamentally change the structure of the brain, making an individual more susceptible to relapse and cravings.

A Community Forum hosted by the College and the Addictions Care Center of Albany explored the epidemic of prescription drug and heroin abuse. Individuals from law enforcement, treatment centers, and recovering addicts themselves shared their perspectives on the issue.
