The Office of Institutional Advancement offers a variety of ways for you to find your fellow alums and help them find you. Click on the below links to see which option works best for you.
The ACPHS Alumni Facebook Group (Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences - Alumni Group) is a great way to keep up with fellow alumni as well as current developments at the College. It features photos, information about upcoming events, and links to other ACPHS Facebook groups and pages.
1. The ACPHS LinkedIn Group (Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences - Alumni Group) is a great way to network with fellow alumni and health care professionals. The ACPHS LinkedIn Group also provides a platform for current ACPHS students to interact with and gain professional insight from members of the alumni community. The page features photos, discussion boards, information on upcoming events, and links to other ACPHS LinkedIn groups as well.
2. The ACPHS Alumni Resident/Fellow Support Group was created to share information among alumi who are currently completing their residency or fellowship. This group can also be used as a platform by which former residents and fellows offer their insight and knowledge to current residents and fellows.
3. The ACPHS Alumni Outreach Group is a virtual mentoring platform meant to foster discussion among alumni and current students in an open forum. Students posting to the ACPHS Alumni Outreach LinkedIn Group are encouraged to ask questions about their future. Alumni can address current student’s questions and facilitate professional discussion.When ACPHS students look toward their futures or are faced with difficult decisions, they could benefit greatly from the experience and expertise of a former ACPHS student.
Mobile App
The FREE ACPHS Mobile App provides a current news and resource stream forall ACPHS community members. The ACPHS Mobile App will keep you connected to campus and up to date on future events. The mobile platform also provides resources regarding insurance, investments, travel and much more. Click here to download the ACPHS Mobile App.
ACPHS has contracted with Google to offer all alumni an ACPHS e-mail account that will literally last a lifetime. This e-mail account, which will have an e-mail address of firstname.lastname@alumni.acphs.edu, will provide an excellent way to keep in touch with your fellow classmates and other alumni through the years.
To request an ACPHS alumni e-mail address, please send an e-mail to alumni@acphs.edu and include your name, telephone number (office, home and cell), alternate e-mail address and your employer and work address.
If you have an existing account, you may access it at http://mail.google.com/a/alumni.acphs.edu/#.
All @alumni.acphs.edu accounts share the same features as Google's popular G-Mail service, including:
- 6+ GB of e-mail storage
- 20 MB attachment limit
- Google Talk instant messaging
Ability to have e-mails automatically forwarded to another e-mail address
There are no costs associated with establishing or maintaining an ACPHS alumni e-mail address. Neither ACPHS nor Google have access to individual accounts, other than to reset passwords or delete them altogether.
The Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Alumni Council represents more than 5,000 graduates of the College. The Council is comprised of alumni volunteers from various class years and is a key liaison for the alumni community to the ACPHS Administration, Board of Trustees and Student Body. The Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Recent Graduate Council represents alumni from the past five years. The Council offers a platform for recent graduates to remain connected to the College through activities such as mentoring and volunteerism.
